Sentrinsic Raises $500k in Growth Capital

Sentrinsic, an industrial sensing and controls company built on technology developed at the Georgia Institute of Technology, today announced it has received a $500,000 investment of growth capital. The investment was led by the GRA Venture Fund, LLC, a private investment fund created to help finance promising companies that emerge through the Georgia Research Alliance VentureLab commercialization program.

“This investment gives us the growth capital needed to press fast forward on our product development efforts,” said Mike Orndorff, Sentrinsic CEO. “We are growing the size of our company and expanding the breadth of our product offerings.”

Sentrinsic Teams with IDEX to Announce New, Energy Efficiency Product

Sentrinsic, an Atlanta-based sensing and controls technology company that adds intelligence to industrial equipment, has partnered with IDEX Corporation, a publicly-traded engineering products company, to create an innovative "green" pump that operates with up to 40% less energy than previous models. The pump, which uses Sentrinsic's patented sensor technology, is being announced today at ACHEMA, the largest industrial pump tradeshow in the world.

Sentrinsic Unveils New Position Feedback Technology at CONEXPO

Sentrinsic, the leader in new technology for embedded position sensor solutions for fluid power and electromechanical applications, unveiled their new Capacitively Grounded Resistance Divider (CGRD) technology at IFPE/CONEXPO today. Sentrinsic teamed with Polygon Company to demonstrate CGRD technology in a "smart cylinder" – a hydraulic cylinder that controls position without the need for a separate PLC or computer.
